Overview

QSC is seeking a high-performing Senior Manager of Strategy & BizOps to support the company’s strategic growth and operational execution. This role will focus on three key areas: corporate strategy and strategic initiatives, strategic planning and performance management, and capability building.

 

The Senior Manager will be responsible for providing data-driven insights, supporting planning efforts, executing strategic initiatives, and contributing to the development and operationalization of critical business capabilities. This role will collaborate closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams across product, operations, and go-to-market functions to support emerging growth areas and key business priorities.

 

The Senior Manager of Strategy & BizOps will be a vital member of the Strategy & BizOps team, reporting to the Director of Strategy & BizOps.

 

Base Pay Range: $147,000 -- $214,000We will be accepting applications until a final candidate is identified. The above reflects the pay range that QSC reasonably expects to pay for this role. This pay range also depends on various factors such as job duties and requirements, relevant experience and skills and geographic location. Responsibilities

Corporate Strategy & Strategic InitiativesSupport Corporate Strategy Development: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling to support the development of QSC’s long-term corporate strategy.• Drive Growth Strategy for Key Business Areas: Assist in identifying new business opportunities, developing business cases, and supporting the execution of growth strategies in alignment with company priorities.• Support Strategic Decision Making: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and financial modeling to provide data-driven insights that support executive decision-making and prioritization of strategic opportunities.• Execute Strategic Initiatives: Manage workstreams for high-impact strategic initiatives, ensuring timelines, stakeholder alignment, and deliverables are met.

Strategic planning and performance management

Support Strategic Planning Processes: Assist in the execution of annual and multi-year strategic planning processes to align corporate objectives with business unit goals.• Track and Measure Performance: Develop and maintain KPIs and performance tracking tools to monitor progress on key initiatives and inform leadership decision-making.• Create Executive Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership, summarizing strategic insights, project updates, and performance metrics.• Facilitate Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams to ensure consistent execution and alignment of strategic initiatives across departments.

Capability DevelopmentDevelop and Implement New Capabilities: Support the design and implementation of scalable frameworks, tools, and processes to enhance operational efficiency and drive business growth.• Operationalize New Capabilities: Assist in integrating new capabilities into core business processes, ensuring smooth adoption and alignment with organizational goals.• Contribute to Team Development: Share best practices and analytical techniques to strengthen the team’s strategic and operational capabilities.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree is required; a degree in a business-related field (such as Economics, Finance, Business Administration) or from a highly regarded university is a plus.
  • Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience at a leading management consulting firm (such as McKinsey, Bain, BCG) or 6+ years in management consulting, corporate strategy, or business operations. Experience in tech or high-growth companies is also a plus.

 

Knowledge & Skills: Strategic Thinking and Problem-Solving: Proven ability to think critically and strategically, breaking down complex problems, analyzing them, and developing innovative, actionable solutions aligned with business objectives.Financial Modeling and Business Case Development: Proficiency in building financial models, conducting scenario analysis, and developing data-driven business cases.Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Strong skills in conducting market research and industry analysis to support strategic decisions.Project and Program Management: Previous experience in managing project timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional teams.Data-Driven Decision-Making: Advanced analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for insights and recommendations (Excel, Power BI, etc.).Executive Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create impactful presentations for senior leaders.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Demonstrated success in working with diverse teams across business functions to drive results.Operational Excellence: Understanding of operational processes and experience implementing scalable frameworks and tools.Change Management: Familiarity with change management principles and experience supporting the rollout of new business capabilities.Industry Knowledge: Understanding of IT industry trends, go-to-market strategies, and product development processes is a plus.
