What you will do:
• Compare and contrast the different types of competition that will be faced in the future
• Monitor market activity and penetration of key competitors
• Measure and monitor shift in customer and stakeholder behavior and decision-making
• Use and interpret qualitative and quantitative research effectively, and glean decision-driving insights through observation of behaviors
• Utilize market research and third-party data to identify key industry trends
• Monitor and evaluate current market strategy and makes recommendations on new source of volume strategies
• Establish metrics to determine if marketing objectives have been effective in driving brand equity
• Interpret business risks, potential threats and opportunities using predictive modeling
• Anticipate operational challenges of business data collection and integration into decision-making
• Participate in establishing company and industry best practices for market insights
• Assess needs for vendors, creating a diversified portfolio that includes an appropriate mix of vendors
• Identify and implement breakthrough solutions across cross-functional teams, demonstrating business influence
• Recommend procedural and process improvements and helps to remove obstacles to team accomplishments
• Develop key relationships with industry/market thought leaders, organizations, and institutions, in collaboration with other marketing leaders
• Collaborate to use strategic planning to enable organizational learning
• Work with business partners to uncover underlying business needs and scope requests into high-value learning opportunities for the company
• Consistently and proactively captures opportunities to influence business decisions and strategies
• Guide decision makers through incorporation of relevant research findings and recommendations into decisions

What you need
• Bachelors required; MBA preferred
• 10+ years of professional experience required ; 7+ years market research experience preferred
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) rrequired

$112,800- $239,900 salary plus bonus eligible + Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, Wellbeing Program, Employee Stock Purchase Program). This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position based on current national data.  Actual minimum and maximum may vary based location.  Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors. 

Travel Percentage: 20%
