About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior QE Manager to lead our Test Automation and Performance Testing teams. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive test automation strategy, ensure performance testing excellence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high quality software. The ideal candidate will have a deep technical background, strong leadership skills, and a passion for quality.  

This position reports to the Sr. Director, Engineering and can be fully remote. 

What You’ll Be Doing:

  •  Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for test automation and performance testing.  
  •  Establish, maintain, and scale test automation frameworks for functional, integration, regression, UAT  and end-to-end testing.  
  •  Build and enhance performance testing frameworks to ensure system scalability, reliability, and responsiveness.  
  •  Lead and mentor a team of test automation and performance engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.  
  •  Work closely with Engineering, DevOps, and product teams to integrate quality engineering practices early in the development cycle.  
  •  Implement and improve QA processes, including CI/CD pipeline integration , Code gating, test data management, and shift left testing strategies.  
  •  Define and track key QA metrics to measure test effectiveness and drive improvements.  
  •  Evaluate and introduce new tools, frameworks, and best practices to enhance test coverage and efficiency.  
  •  Provide regular updates on quality metrics, test coverage, and defect trends to engineering leadership.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.  
  • 10+ years in software quality engineering, with at least 5+ years in a QA leadership role.  
  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks such as webdriverio BDD testing framework.
  • Strong scripting and programming skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, or similar languages.  
  • Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, k6, or LoadRunner.  
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, etc.).  
  • Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS,  and containerization technologies.
  • Digital Experience with Subscription and ecommerce platforms
  • Proven ability to lead and develop high performing QA teams.  
  •  Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across engineering and business teams.  
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and integrating QA in DevOps workflows.  

Bonus if You Have:

  •  Experience with AI/ML driven test automation tools.  
  •  Knowledge of security testing methodologies and tools.  
  •  Experience in largescale enterprise software testing.  
  •  ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
