Sr. Manager, Project Sales and Development

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sr. Manager, NA Project Development, is responsible for delivering volume sales growth in the North American market via early engagement with large scale projects within the municipal and industrial market segments. Reporting to the Director of Strategic Business Development, this leadership position is responsible for driving the development, deployment, and successful execution of a Projects Sales Strategy aligned with the vision for the North America Sales organization.
The Sr. Manager, NA Project Development ensures the development and sustainment of a high performing project sales organization that achieves profitable volume growth and captures market share while ensuring the execution of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). In this role, you will drive both in-person and virtual customer interactions with key project stakeholders such as engineering & consulting firms (E&C), Engineer/Procure/Construct firms (EPC) system integrators (SIs), and OEMs to influence specifications, build funnel, promote new logo prospecting, and deliver sales growth. By using Veralto Enterprise System (VES) tools, you will drive continuous improvement, develop and execute countermeasures, standard work, and other process improvements resulting in surpassing volume growth targets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and sustain a high performing project sales organization that achieves profitable volume growth and captures market share while ensuring the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Lead preparations and execution of both in-person and virtual customer interactions with key project stakeholders such as engineering & consulting firms (E&C), Engineer/Procure/Construct firms (EPC) system integrators (SIs), and OEMs to influence specifications, build funnel, promote new logo prospecting, and deliver sales growth.
- Provide leadership and direction to a projects team comprised of Project Pursuit Managers and the Project Bids team or project specialists. Develop sales talent by going to Gemba to provide coaching, training, and mentoring to sales personnel using situational leadership toolbox.
- Charts the course by developing and executing a collaborative geographical/vertical sales strategy that drives profitable volume growth of Hach’s products and services within large scale projects.
- Drive continuous improvement, develop and execute countermeasures, standard work, and other process improvements resulting in surpassing volume growth targets.
- Develop, support, and promote Standard Work for Projects through SFDC and elsewhere.
- Proactively support change management, problem resolution and continuous improvement, serving as a role model for innovation and transformation with a high sense of urgency and can-do attitude.
- Manage and measure performance using KPIs and institute countermeasures where appropriate, to achieve goals, as well as develop performance improvement plans.
- Obtain market insights that inform new product innovation through partnerships with product development teams that convey voice of sales and customer.
Minimum Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience and knowledge across commercial selling, marketing, product management or business development (combination of these preferred).
- 6-8 years of people leadership experience
- BA, BS or MS degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Environmental Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. Industry-specific experience in Water or Infrastructure-related Construction & Engineering
- Successful track record of driving innovation and strategy.
- Proven ability to create and analyze reports to identify trends to problem solve and drive results.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $150,000 - $175,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
