Job Summary
Responsible for leading a team in the strategic development of plans and execution of operational policies, working closely with both internal and external sales partners. Oversee pre-sales responsibilities of the team, guiding them in understanding the client objective and optimizing yield principles to deliver a strong solution, supporting both operational and revenue impacted business. Approach all challenges through a critical thinking, analytical lens and possess the ability to lead in an environment of change. Accountable for ensuring that budgets and work performance standards are consistently met, while keeping the team aligned with the organization’s overarching objectives. Develops financial and operational objectives. Ensures operational plans are aligned with business objectives. Contributes to functional strategy development. Has a greater degree of impact on business results, and typically manages one or more groups of professional employees.Job Description
Core Responsibilities: Develop/empower the team manager to run a high performing team of supervisors, senior planners and planners. Provide strategic guidance on high level initiatives and plans. Present regularly and hold higher level conversations with senior level management partners independently as pertains to media planning; applies to both internal and external partners. Identify key talent to hire and has a full understanding of hiring process/pipeline proactivity. Partner with other planning leads to ensure plans are being handled efficiently, cohesively, and strategically. Collaborates to develop best practices across teams. Work closely with director and partner planning or yield leads on higher-level projects such as new product rollouts, current system enhancements, complex pricing analysis, and strategic thought sessions. Lead cross-team planning projects to support new advertising sales initiatives. Remain available to sales team and resolves operational questions and issues. Create and analyze work performance standards that ensure adherence to policies and procedures in accordance with overall functional strategy. Lead and champion changes in inventory, products, schedules, and operational policies for the team. Provide support and solutions in operational areas as needed. Develop and effectively communicate team goals and priorities. Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. This job can be performed in Colorado with a Pay Range of $98,362.76 - $147,544.14Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience.
