  • In partnership with the Sr. HR Director, support Endologix leadership with guidance on employee relations matters, job changes, hiring, compensation, involuntary separations, and other priorities impacting cross-functional departments.
  • Empathetically and confidently solve complex people challenges, including matters that require conflict resolution, investigations, and workplace accommodations.
  • Lead direct report HR team members to ensure that they have the support, guidance, and resources necessary to engage in their roles successfully.
  • Oversee the employee requisition process, including immigration, compensation, and job description development.
  • Collaborate with the Manager, Payroll and Compliance, to ensure that the applicant tracking system is properly collecting data for federal reporting compliance requirements.
  • Advise the Sr. HR Director on HR processes, systems, people strategies, and programs that enhance the HR function while aligning with departmental and organizational strategic objectives.
  • Maintain awareness of and advise on employee engagement strategies, including, best practices regarding recruitment, total rewards, employee systems, and performance management.
  • Identify and advise on HR policies and procedures, as necessary, to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Provide back-up support to the Sr. HR Director, as needed.

 

Qualifications

Minimum Education: 

 

BA in HR, Business Admin, or related field or SHRM certified

 

Minimum Experience: 

  • Ten years’ experience in either HR leadership or in a senior-level strategic HR advisory capacity
  • A minimum of five years’ experience in an HR Manager capacity, or similar role
  • Strong experience leading others, particularly in a dynamic setting where priorities and resources tend to change

  • Proficient in federal and California employment laws.
  • Strong project management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems, with iCIMS experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in using HRIS systems, with UKG experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effectively communicates via verbal and written form, as well as strong presentation skills.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • A competitive base salary ranging from $155,000 to $165,000.
  • Remote work with minimal travel (to NorCal and SoCal).

Work Environment and Physical Demands of the Job: 

 

This is a remote position with some travel in CA, up to eight times per year.

 

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers; talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms and to move within and between the buildings.  A computer terminal is used to access, input, and retrieve data. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
