Collaborate closely with diverse functional groups across the organization, championing compliant business practices in the intricate landscape of export and import regulations.
As a member of the GT team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to critical regulations such as the U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR), U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), and other global mandates that shape operations across our U.S. and international sites.
What You Will Do
- Lead a team of licensing professionals. Provide licensing guidance and license portfolio management guidance
- support and nurture each member of your team with career development guidance/activities
- Support the business with developing licensing strategies to enable business growth
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) in ITAR and EAR Export Authorizations requirements and drafting
- Review, prepare, submit, and manage Export Authorizations (Licenses DSP-5, DSP-73, DOC licenses, Agreements MLAs, TAAs, Exemptions/Exceptions) to authorize the transfer of regulated hardware, technical data, software, and services
- Review and approve export transactional requests involving employee travel, visitor access, technical data exports, and hardware exports
- Assist with investigations and reviews of possible GT escapes and disclosures
- 10% Travel to site locations
What You Will Learn
- As you lead a team of licensing professionals, you'll master the art of providing insightful guidance on licensing strategies and portfolio management, fueling the growth of our business.
- You will play a pivotal role in assisting with investigations and reviews of potential Global Trade escapes and disclosures, contributing to the continuous improvement of our compliance processes.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here.

- Degree in business management, international business, legal, or international trade from an accredited institution.
- GTS and OCR experience
- People Leader experience
- GT Licensing experience

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
