Position Overview

The Senior Manager, Field Marketing, will play a major role in the commercial success of Omnipod by leading all field sales channel efforts to maximize engagement and influence HCP prescribing habits. This role involves developing and managing field marketing programs relating to improving and enhancing the End-to-End customer experience. The position demands a deep understanding of the Omnipod customer journey to identify and implement enhancements, ensuring a seamless experience. The Sr Manager, Field Marketing will be the marketing point of contact between the End-to-End Customer experience team and the field sales, field leadership, cross-functional commercial team, and field training teams. By working proactively and collaboratively with key customer stakeholders (internal and external from the organization), the Sr Manager, Field Marketing will have a central role in business analysis, field marketing strategy development, new product commercialization and portfolio management planning. These and other core activities (designed and executed by this role) will ensure the growth of a successful diabetes business at Insulet.

Responsibilities

Field Marketing Ownership and Communication:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive field marketing strategies to optimize customer experience and program performance.

  • Lead field sales marketing initiatives, including field programs, promotions, sales talk-tracks, and national/regional sales meeting planning and execution.

  • Serve as a liaison between field sales leadership and marketing management, participating in weekly calls at regional and district levels.

  • Ensure ongoing field travel and support of industry events to stay connected to the field team and customer needs.

  • Develop and execute field sales collateral, messaging, and creative selling tools that will enhance the customer journey experience.

Implementation of New Product Commercialization:

  • Work with franchise marketing teams to ensure seamless knowledge transfer of product innovation and go-to-market strategy.

  • Develop the core field materials needed for successful product launches and beyond.

  • Maintain cross-functional collaboration with field sales training to ensure continued pull-through of field sales resources and core messaging.

  • Works closely with the Product Marketing Manager to understand the Insulet customer journey and product launch strategies that will impact business processes across the customer journey

  • Evaluates business problems and desired outcomes, breaking down complex experiences to identify potential improvements

  • Proactively collaborate with all franchises (Omnipod 5, Type-2, Data Products, and End-to-End), with a core focus on the End-to-End franchise.

Skills and Competencies

  • Proven record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
