Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. We are actively seeking a Sr. Learning Experience Designer to develop high-quality, interactive e-learning materials for various departments at Arthrex. This position will research, design and build courses as needed in a variety of topics as directed by business needs within Arthrex. Develops and implements engaging digital learning to meet the identified needs.

 

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in creating engaging digital, visual, and audio training materials and partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to deliver high-quality instructional content. Candidates should have robust Articulate Storyline expertise. An established portfolio of eLearning projects is required during the interview process. Experience in corporate eLearning environment strongly preferred. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze, design, develop, and evaluate training solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Build engaging multimedia content using various authoring tools.
• Creates storyboards, scripts, and job aids that support learning activities.
• Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to course development.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines provided by stakeholders.
• Stay current with industry trends and learning technologies.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training and development programs and use relevant evaluation data to revise or recommend changes in instruction or delivery methods.
• Ensures compliance of material designed and/or delivered with applicable laws, policies, rules and regulations of Arthrex and the governmental agencies where Arthrex operates.
• Travel up to 10%

 

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Education, Instructional Design, or related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
• 7 years of instructional design using accepted adult education principles for the design of engaging eLearning content required.

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

• Knowledge and understanding of adult learning principles and of a wide range of training methods, techniques, and formats.
• Advanced multimedia development skills (video, graphics, audio, etc.)
