Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented IT Senior Manager to join our team! In this role you will get to be part of the IT Enterprise Applications organization providing leadership for the Project Delivery and Finance Team focused on Business Transformation.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Works with Parsons senior management and with other IT managers to identify, plan and define IT Enterprise Applications goals and objectives. Determines the internal or external (third party) resources required to achieve them;  

• Maintains regular communication with Enterprise Applications Leadership, presenting Project Status Reports as well as assisting with budget and other financial reports.

• Monitors productivity and technical proficiency of assigned team members. Conducts performance evaluations, provides ongoing performance feedback, takes corrective action as necessary, recommends hiring decisions, promotions, salary actions and terminations. Recommends training and development and performance improvement plans for assigned staff members.

• Performs resource planning, organizes and modifies staff assignments as required to complete specific projects and other activities, within time and budget constraints.

• Works with Enterprise Applications Leadership to establish and assure conformance to standards, audit compliance, priorities, policies and procedures for the overall IT Enterprise Application organization.

• In cooperation with Parsons IT Infrastructure Leadership, identifies, recommends and implements operational improvements to Parsons existing Enterprise Applications.  

• Designs and/or oversees team members who design system architecture for new and existing Parsons-developed or third-party Enterprise Applications. Monitors and directs the requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, installation, testing and implementation of new applications or modifications to existing applications, assuring technical quality as well as end user satisfaction.

• Assures the successful development and installation of new applications and services. Assigns staff to coordinate and support the installation, testing, implementation and maintenance of applications and services. Monitors progress and verifies that final delivered product or service meets end user requirements.

• Provides suggestions for efficiency, quality, and cost savings improvements. Identifies best practices and lessons learned for dissemination throughout the team.  Creates and documents standard processes and procedures.

• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree and typically 8+ years of related professional experience.

• Experience in evaluating and recommending IT products and solutions.

• A thorough understanding of current and evolving software applications and technology for business operations and other professional activities.

• Deltek Costpoint configuration and technical expertise

• Problem solving and analytical skills

•  

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience with ERP implementations

• Smartsheet or MS Project

• SQL experience

Salary Range: $120,800.00 - $217,400.00
