This role will be responsible for managing expo operations on multiple medium to large -scale programs. You are responsible for the success of the project by ensuring stakeholders, internal teams, vendors, and additional contributors understand what is expected of them and to drive seamless execution. Event Managers are strong communicators that anticipate their clients’ needs, drive planning schedules, manage budgets, and understand Opus processes to deliver unique experiences.  YOU SHOULD HAVE 
  • 3+ years of experience in Expo Management
  • Extensive budget management skills
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team of vendors and event staff
  • Excellent computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office suite, Google Suite & Drive, AirTable and/or Quip program experience preferred; Monday.com experience is a bonus
  • Highly detailed and able to muti-task with limited direction
  • Self-starter
  • Ability to work independently, in a team, and as a report to a project lead
  • Thrive on supporting and working collaboratively with different workstyles, teams, clients seamlessly
  • Successfully perform in a high stress, fast-paced environment
  • Accept changes with short notice and tolerate frequent interruptions

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • A contact and consultant for the client and client team stakeholders
  • Connect the dots between what is happening inside the expo and externally across the full event team
  • Ability to manage components of the expo budget
  • Manage all logistics related to expo (or booth)
  • Manage expo operations and technical deliverables
  • Manage templates and deliverables including overall expo space plan
  • Run client and stakeholder meetings
  • Identify decisions needed from the client (floorplan layout, overall expo inclusions, F&B, signage, theater content, etc) and work with team to present recommendations to client
  • Help drive and execute the expo project plan, inclusive of gathering milestones from all workstream supporting Vendors and spearheading the development of a detailed work back schedule to track all deliverables and deadlines, including move-in and -out schedules; 
  • Manage the stakeholder portal and Expo alias;
  • Recommend and implement best practices and solutions utilizing industry knowledge
  • Develop Expo wayfinding plans, identifying aisle sign quantities and placements along with ground supported wayfinding structures 
  • Manage Opus expo workstream meetings and change management process, agendas notes, action items, and delivery
  • Review and oversight of design review process; ensure all logistics updates from version to version are captured and discussed prior to review with the client
  • Identify opportunities for efficiencies across event workstreams (example: signage, temp staff, wayfinding, speaker management, etc.)

 HOW WE’LL TAKE CARE OF YOU  Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting salary for this role is between $75,000 and $95,000. Our salary ranges are based on third-party national average market compensation analysis. The actual salary is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
