Sr. Earned Value Specialist (Remote Eligible)

As an Earned Value Specialist, you will provide Earned Value Management implementation support to maintain industry best practices and ensure compliance with all government requirements. You will develop standard procedures, conduct EVM Workshops/Trainings to enhance EVM skills within the Program Management and Business Operations communities, and provide oversight to establish program management ownership of program performance data.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying training gaps and participate in determining and implementing solutions (tools, process and training) for various SNC initiatives
  • Creating EVMS process documentation and Earned Value Management System Description revisions / updates
  • Researching industry EVM best practices and incorporate into established processes
  • Leading efforts for successful completion of Program IBRs, JSRs and Internal Surveillances (to include completion of actions items)
  • Enforce program utilization of EVMS that is in compliance with guidelines in ANSI/EIA-748 and is in accordance with provisions of DFARS 252.234-7002
  • Reviewing and auditing EV deliverables on programs
  • Successful implementation of EV tools
  • Establish EVM templates/formats to include: Program Performance Metrics, RAM, Program Baseline Change Control Logs
  • Develop and conduct EVM training workshops
  • Co-lead the EVM working groups

Must Haves:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business, or a related field and typically 10+ years of related work experience.
  • Higher education may substitute for relevant experience
  • Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • A proven background and competency in Earned Value Management
  • Ability to develop effective EVM procedures, training, and work instructions relative to regulatory standards and internal processes
  • Apply Earned Value Management concepts in working with federal government contracts, budget process, and fund management
  • Capability to perform in depth earned value data analysis, inclusive of data quality checks and CDRL/SDRL (IPMR, CFSR, CSDR, etc.) review
  • Advanced skills in Earned Value Management software (Deltek Cobra), and familiarity with scheduling software (MS Project) and self service analytics (PowerBI)

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $108,496.89 - $149,183.22. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.

SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
