Your next career:The Senior Director of Product Marketing champions and drives strategy, messaging, and plans in alignment with product and sales business strategy. You will establish market leadership through awareness, growth, adoption, and retention of fabric’s core platform. In addition to building strong relationships with leaders in product management, engineering, delivery, and sales, you will build bridges with our customers to understand their needs, experience with our technology, and validation of our messaging and strategies. You will lead the development of messaging frameworks and GTM plans.
You are passionate about how ecommerce technology is empowering mid-market and enterprise B2C, and DTC customers in this unique moment of accelerated digital transformation and opportunities to help them modernize and drive growth. Ideal candidates will already understand APIs and microservices and how they apply to modern eCommerce solutions. Crafting targeted and validated messaging will influence the work of the rest of the marketing organization and will be critical to your success.
Your Responsibilities:- Develop and implement comprehensive product marketing strategies that align with fabric's business objectives and market trends.- Build and lead a high-performing product marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence- Establish a data-driven approach to market and customer insights, including evaluating TAM, segmentation, industries, and competitive landscape.- Partner closely with Product Management to evaluate and determine pricing, offers, and naming as appropriate.- Determine marketing strategy, ICP, and messaging for fabric’s core platform and suite of products.- Create marketing plans that align to key success metrics and inform global campaign execution and growth tactics.- Own product positioning and messaging to craft narratives that are grounded in a deep understanding of the business challenges our customers are facing - Validate messaging with customers, prospects, and partners.- Manage and refine product-related content as one source of the truth for all extended teams.-Partner with the GTM team to craft messaging that highlights fabric’s differentiated capabilities and value with the ability to translate that in a compelling message that resonates with the market
What you bring to the table:- 10+ years of marketing experience, most of which in a product and/or industry marketing leadership role- 7+ years of recent experience in a fast-growing SaaS startup- Experience as hands-on product marketer as well as building and leading marketing teams- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence others - Demonstrated ability to drive product growth and market expansion- A portfolio of work (with links) that showcases product marketing success- An ability to work both independently and collaboratively- An interest in eCommerce, SaaS, startups, and modern software architecture
The base salary for this role will be between $170k USD to $225k USDThe annual base salary range for this full-time position reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Actual pay may vary, depending on qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this role may be eligible for an annual performance bonus, equity options, and company benefits (your recruiter can share more details during the hiring process). Final offer amounts may vary from the amounts listed above.
