As a DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer at Serve Robotics you will help us to develop Data platform capabilities and tools that enable our organization to collect and process data across a fleet of robots and cloud services. You will help to design and implement CI/CD pipeline, and maintain our development infrastructure. You will play a key role in streamlining our software development lifecycle, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery of code changes from development to production.

You will work with software engineers to help them learn, adapt, and adopt our core cloud management tools and best practices. You will also help develop documentation and training material and evangelize these technologies and capabilities to the broader engineering organization. As an expert in Cloud technologies, you will help influence architecture and infrastructure decisions within the broader engineering organization.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain scalable infrastructure for our data platform, ensuring performance, reliability, and security across all environments

  • Automate deployment and provisioning using CI/CD pipelines, ensuring streamlined workflows from development to production.

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime across our services.

  • Work with other teams to continuously improve and automate processes to minimize toil in deploying and maintaining cloud services

  • Participate in the on-call rotation for our critical infrastructure pieces

Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience in similar position.

  • 3+ years of infrastructure development experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

  • Hands-on experience of infrastructure provisioning with Terraform.

  • 3+ years of building and managing CI/CD pipelines and monitoring systems.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
