Sr. Content Strategist, Consumer Marketing

Responsibilities:
- Strategy & vision: Develop and communicate a strategic, content vision that aligns with Consumer Marketing’s OKRs, using data-driven insights to optimize marketing initiatives and measure results.
- Leadership & team development: Build and scale a high-performing content strategy function. Mentor team members and implement scalable processes to elevate content across the marketing organization.
- Content strategy & messaging: Lead the creation of content strategies, including journey mapping, persona-based messaging, and content planning for scalable growth across channels. Tailor content for both client and consumer audiences, ensuring consistency in voice, tone, and brand positioning.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Partner across Consumer Marketing and other departments to create member-facing content that aligns with business objectives and clearly articulates value.
- Planning & execution: Develop and manage editorial calendars, oversee content production, and ensure timely distribution across platforms. Actively engage in the content creation process while continuously optimizing content through performance tracking and A/B testing.
- Performance analysis & reporting: Track and analyze content performance metrics, refine strategies based on insights, and report key findings to stakeholders. Support client-facing teams with cohesive content strategies that address audience needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing, journalism, communications, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in content strategy, marketing, and messaging with a proven ability to develop and execute content plans that drive results.
- Expertise in journey mapping, messaging frameworks, and persona-driven content strategies.
- Strong experience in creating consumer messaging aligned with organizational goals.
- Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Data-driven decision-maker with strong strategic judgment to navigate complex challenges.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and build trust across teams.
- A “builder” mentality—someone ready to roll up their sleeves, create scalable solutions, and lead the team through growth and change.
Physical/Cognitive Requirements:
- Ability to remain seated in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
- Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate keyboard, computer and other office-related equipment.
- No heavy lifting is expected, though occasional exertion of about 20 lbs. of force (e.g., lifting a computer / laptop) may be required.
- Ability to interact with leadership, employees, and members in an appropriate manner.
Zone A: $120,050 - $156,070 + equity + benefits Zone B: $138,058 - $179,470 + equity + benefits Zone C: $150,063 - $195,080 + equity + benefits Zone D: $156,065 - $202,880 + equity + benefits
This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for candidates based on their respective Zone. Below is additional information on Included Health's commitment to maintaining transparent and equitable compensation practices across our distinct geographic zones.
Starting base salary for the successful candidate will depend on several job-related factors, unique to each candidate, which may include, but not limited to, education; training; skill set; years and depth of experience; certifications and licensure; business needs; internal peer equity; organizational considerations; and alignment with geographic and market data. Compensation structures and ranges are tailored to each zone's unique market conditions to ensure that all employees receive fair and competitive compensation based on their roles and locations.
