Zapier is looking for a content writer with a strategic mindset and strong editorial skills to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll lead the creation of high-impact, long-form content that supports sales-aligned campaigns, attracts qualified leads, and fuels pipeline growth.

You’ll focus on crafting in-depth, research-backed assets like ebooks, guides, and data reports that help business decision-makers see the value of AI and automation. Working closely with demand generation, product marketing, and sales, you’ll ensure your content maps to key customer pain points and moves leads through the funnel.

In this role, you’ll be the lead writer for several key marketing initiatives and get to work on a broad range of content including web copy, landing pages, email nurtures, campaign assets, and more. You’ll be involved in these projects from the very start and have the chance to shape strategy and messaging, working closely with cross-functional partners in marketing programs, events, brand, and product marketing.

About You

You’re a strategic content creator. You have 5+ years of experience writing B2B marketing content that drives results—especially long-form, gated assets like ebooks, guides, and research reports that support demand gen and sales enablement.

You write what’s next. You have experience identifying emerging trends and untapped angles. You spot fresh opportunities for content and know how to turn those insights into sharp, strategic trend reports for enterprise stakeholders.

You understand content’s role in the funnel. Whether it’s an ebook or a short-form landing page, your writing is engaging, polished, and audience-aware. You can flex tone and voice based on the goal and reader. You know how to craft content for every stage of the buyer’s journey and align your work to broader marketing and sales goals.

When you don’t know, you find out. You’ve got experience digging for insights—whether that’s deep dive research or interviewing experts, customers, and partners—and turning those conversations into compelling, conversion-focused content. You also know how to use original research and survey data to create valuable, lead-generating content.

You know how to get the most out of content. You’re always looking for ways to repurpose and atomize content into derivative formats—from blog posts and social snippets to webinar decks and video scripts—maximizing impact while doing more with less. You’re comfortable using AI to assist.

You’re a strong cross-functional partner. You collaborate well with stakeholders across demand gen, sales, and product marketing to align messaging and content priorities.

No draft is sacred. You welcome feedback and love iteration. You’re comfortable reworking your drafts, fine-tuning copy, and sharpening messaging to make the content as strong as possible.

You work efficiently and independently. You manage your time and workflow effectively, balancing multiple priorities without sacrificing quality.

Things You Might Do

• Write long-form, gated content (ebooks, buyer’s guides, whitepapers etc.) to generate leads and support sales conversations with an enterprise audience.

• Lead customer, executive, technical expert, and influencer interviews to create original thought leadership content that builds trust and authority.

• Design and develop data reports based on original surveys and industry research.

• Partner with demand generation, product marketing, partnerships, customer marketing, and sales to shape campaign strategy and ensure content maps to buyer needs and conversion goals.

• Strategically repurpose long-form content into channel-ready assets—email series, blog posts, social content, and sales collateral—tailored to different stages of the buyer journey.

• Partner with sales, social, and video teams to break out long-form content into assets like webinar decks, infographics, social posts, and scripts.

• Use performance data and stakeholder feedback to continuously optimize your work.

• Help ensure consistency in voice, tone, and messaging across all content touch points.
