Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Capture Management professional with a mind for sales, to participate in and direct pursuits of high profile, multimillion dollar projects.
What You'll Be Doing:
Establishes and maintains client contacts and develops sales strategy.
Identifies, qualifies, and manages opportunities through the full capture lifecycle based on Parsons’ Business Acquisition Process (BAP).
Manages business development operations including management and tracking of B&P budgets and Salesforce pipeline.
Strengthens current business ties; coordinates meetings between clients/potential clients and technical or other key individuals.
Keeps abreast of overall business trends, particularly the current business climate. Conducts surveys to determine promising areas of development.
Establishes and maintains numerous contacts within and outside the industry. Follows up in a timely manner on all possible leads.
Develops proposals for services in response to invitations to bid and provides guidance to proposal team from inception to completion.
Develops the pricing structure, as well as other contract terms and conditions.
Negotiates contracts, including secrecy agreements and joint venture agreements.
Acts as sponsor during project execution.
Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. Master’s degree in business, relevant technical, or national security preferred.
15+ years of experience, primarily within business development organization supporting proposal activities.
Experience in leading win strategies and proposal staffing efforts.
Proven ability to develop and manage a multiple opportunity pipeline.
Ability to articulate a proposal strategy and serve as a member of the capture and/or proposal team and extensive experience in the development of high impact proposal executive summaries.
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
