Job Description Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced BI Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence and analytics solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will work closely with data analysts, data engineers, and business stakeholders to create interactive dashboards, reports, and data models that provide valuable insights and support strategic initiatives. This role will report to the Sr. Director, Enterprise Data Delivery & Projects.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Data Models and BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data models.
  • Collaborate with data analysts and business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs.
  • Work closely with the business stakeholders in the Finance group to develop and maintain BI solutions, dashboards and reports specific to Accounting, Planning, GL.
  • Perform data analysis and validation to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
  • Optimize BI solutions for performance and scalability.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for BI solutions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest BI tools and technologies and apply this knowledge to improve existing solutions.
  • Document BI solutions and processes to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
  • Gather requirements from the customer/client, and develop technical plans for implementing the solution
  • Execute on product delivery backlog items for BI solutions
  • Participate in the BI & Analytics community within C&W, providing support to citizen developers

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in BI development, including data modeling, report development, and dashboard creation.
  • Strong proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Salesforce CRMA, and Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience in BI development for solutions specific to Finance [Accounting, Planning, GL reporting]
  • Excellent SQL skills and experience with data warehousing concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in BI development, including data modelling, report design and development, and dashboard creation.
  • Strong proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Fabric, Tableau, Salesforce CRMA, and data management in Microsoft Azure.
  • Excellent SQL skills and experience with data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience working with data sourced from Workday.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience visualizing/presenting data for stakeholders







The compensation for the position is: $110,500.00 - $130,000.00
