Sr. Archeologist

Leidos seeks to hire an experienced Sr. Archeologist/Project Manager to lead and author environmental assessments and environmental impact statements for federal agencies, with emphasis on Department of Defense customers. Preference is to have a candidate near Shalimar, Florida, to allow in office support a few times a month. Remote work will be considered.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute DoD and other federal NEPA compliance and permitting projects.
- Lead Section 106 consultation efforts
- Prepare cultural resource impact analysis for NEPA tasks
- Support analysis for other resource areas
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Archeology or Anthropology
- 8 years experience preparing Section 106 consultations, NEPA documents
- Registered Professional Archeologist
Preferred Experience
- 10 or more years NEPA and consultation knowledge and experience with southeast DoD installations; Florida panhandle experience a plus.
- Leading and managing project personnel.
- Developing project schedules in MS Project.
- Managing budgets for firm fixed price projects
- Manage and interface with clients
- Preparing NEPA documents with MS Word and Adobe products.
- Secret level clearance a plus.
- Experience supporting proposal preparation.
- Management of subcontractors in Phase I archeological surveys
- Experience with investigation of prehistoric and historic archaeological sites, architectural investigations and NHPA related legal agreements.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
