The Senior Analyst, Managed Care Analytics will leverage your experience to provide best-in-class analytical support for Revenue Cycle Operations through the completion of payer analytics, fulfillment of complex ad hoc requests, and development of reporting dashboards. R1 is a data driven company that strives to utilize analytics to drive value for our customers and the CORE team is at the forefront of those efforts. Continued innovation and collaboration with internal leaders to develop new and impactful analytics will be a key to R1’s future success.
Responsibilities:
- Producing and performing quality checks on dashboard and reports focused on monitoring insurance payor behavior
- Compiling and interpreting large sets of healthcare data for alternative performance reviews as well as ad hoc reporting.
- Developing process solutions through automation, standardization, and innovation.
- Engaging with Customer Operations to create and regularly produce client-facing reporting. When necessary, engaging with Customer resources to adjust external facing reporting and addressing quality concerns.
- Assisting the Managed Care Analytics Vice President with monthly reporting packages for delivery to client C-suite and internal leadership.
- Interpreting and analyzing contractual language and regulatory statutes.
- Supporting management with the assistance of an offshore analyst team.
Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, analyzing financial results, revenue cycle analytics, or equivalent
- Exemplary analytical and critical thinking skills, strong attention to detail, and effective communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and cross-functionally
- SQL Experience, Excellent Microsoft Excel skills including experience with pivot tables and v-lookups, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including PowerPoint
Desired Qualifications:
- PowerBI proficiency
- Direct revenue cycle or managed care experience
