Sr Analyst, Global Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) and Market Access

Job Description Summary:
The Senior Analyst, Global HEOR, and Market Access will be an integral member of the Global HEOR & Market Access team. The incumbent will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of global market access and pricing strategies that align with brand and corporate strategies. This includes supporting global value dossier development and country Health Technology Assessment (HTA) submission processes; engagement with regional market access leads and country managers to support local market access activity; desktop research including market access environmental scan including trends in International Reference Pricing (IRP), HTA requirements, and government healthcare policy (ex-EU); project coordination with HEOR and market access consultants/vendors; Health Economics activities and collaborating with our cross-functional teams; manage files, records, and documents to support HEOR projects and HTA/market access activities (Office365 and SharePoint).The incumbent will support HEOR & Market Access efforts on disease awareness programs, value, and access narratives, and benefit-risk profiling of products in partnership with marketing, medical affairs, clinical affairs, biostats, and regulatory affairs to ensure timely dissemination of scientific evidence through peer-reviewed publications, as well as clinical or scientific conferences in support of payors’ evidence needs for clinical and value assessments used for reimbursement decision-making and pricing. Through continuous monitoring of global market dynamics including new therapeutic programs, product launch(es), and the evolution of healthcare ecosystems, as well as payor/HTA trends the incumbent will support Market Access strategic and tactical planning.
The incumbent works collaboratively with internal departments and external resources on HEOR & Market Access related issues. They will participate as a team member in planning and operations related to payor engagement, value demonstration, pricing research, real-world evidence development, dossier development, economic modelling, and value proposition communications.
The Senior Analyst, Global HEOR and Market is accountable for adherence to relevant regulatory requirements and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as appropriate.
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Partner with regional and local Market Access leads and HEOR in support of regional and local access needs
- Update Pricing Maps for marketed products (monthly scheduled and ad-hoc requests)
- Coordinate pricing analysis for marketed products to report implications of International Reference Pricing.
- Maintains a repository of health technology assessment, pricing and reimbursement requirements, procedures, and process timelines at global, regional and local levels.
- Compile Market Access stakeholder engagement materials, models, and tools and disseminate for regional and local reimbursement needs.
- Updates global value proposition associated global value dossiers and slide libraries with newly published evidence and coordinates with regional and local Market Access leads on local adaptation.
- Provides project management support for the execution of HEOR research and evidence generation.
- Provide Scientific expertise in HEOR research protocol development and study execution.
- Support the development of GHEOR internal and external communication material.
- Continuous maintenance and update of capabilities for the GHEOR/GMAx SharePoint site.
- Manages assigned project budget in alignment with department budget guidance.
- Performs other tasks and assignments as needed and specified by management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related business or scientific discipline and a minimum of 6+ years progressively responsible experience in market access and/or health economics and outcomes positions in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology or related environment at least 1 of which was spent in global commercial organizations or PharmD a minimum of 2+ years progressively responsible experience in market access.
- A working understanding of orphan drug pricing and global payor processes
- A basic knowledge of and hands-on experience in health outcomes and pricing
- Demonstrated ability to work independently on complex projects with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, matrixed, team environment consisting of internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience working with and overseeing projects with external vendors.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent planning, organization and time management skills including the ability to support and prioritize multiple projects.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)

• Advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, Master’s, MBA)
• Experience supporting the commercialization of an orphan, rare disease
* Travel requirements: Up to 25%
Expected Base Salary Range:
$86,800 – $109,200 The base salary offered will be contingent on assessment of candidate education level, background, and experience relative to the requirements of the position they are being considered for, as well as review of internal equity.
In addition to base salary, PTC employees are also eligible for short- and long-term incentives. All eligible employees may also enroll in PTC’s medical, dental, vision, and retirement savings plans.
