This Sr. Analyst will be a team lead for the Metro Medical Finance Operations team! Open to remote candidates in Tennessee or Ohio!

What Finance Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.

Finance Operations is responsible for the oversight and overall performance of the following core financial processes. This includes pricing administration, rebates, cash application, chargebacks, billing, accounts payable and employee travel & expense.

Responsibilities

  • Issue Resolution:  Acting as the first point of escalation for the team, handling complex issues and ensuring efficient problem resolution.
  • Query Resolution for AP:  Collaborating with the AP Team to address inquiries from internal and external stakeholders regarding invoice and payment status. 
  • Process Improvement:  Identifying opportunities for process improvement, implementing best practices, and leading initiatives to enhance team efficiency and accuracy.
  • Continuous Improvement:  Promoting a culture of continuous improvement within the team, identifying and implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Customer Service:   Providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients, resolving queries promptly and effectively.
  • Billing Operations:  Overseeing billing activities, implementing standardization processes, and enhancing customer service. This includes managing workloads, process documentation, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and procedures.
  • Cash Application Process:  Overseeing the daily cash application process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer payments.


Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of shared services or finance operations experience, preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred

  • Work reviewed for sound reasoning and accuracy

Anticipated salary range: $56,200-$80,400
