Job Description
The mission of the Omni Business Development (OBD) team is to win at shelf through empowering retailers & Kraft Heinz with insights. Within OBD, Omni Business Analytics enables Omni capabilities in driving outsized growth through innovation, experimentation and disruption, delivering strong results and a best in class consumer experience. The team’s analytical responsibilities extend across a wide scope including Sales & Market Share, Assortment & Availability, Content and Placement, Pricing and Promotion, Placement, and Performance Management, as well as several strategic projects to ensure performance excellence on pace with digital and in-store channel growth. The team works very closely with Sales, Finance, Content, Media, Category Management groups, within the US.
The Sr Analyst, Omni Business Analytics will lead business analytics and insights for a sub-set of key Omni partners and will be responsible in providing cross-functional teams with end-to-end business-critical insights and overall support to drive the business.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
- Analyze sales and market share data for key partners, providing insights to inform critical decision-making and planning that will enable optimal growth across a mix of channels.
- Analyze overall business health performance, acquire a deep understanding of business performance and correlations, and provide detailed performance insights to cross-functional teams to drive the business. Develop and communicate diagnostics to aid in business health initiatives planning.
- Participate in cross-functional continuous improvement projects in the area of eCommerce/Omni analytics. Ability to influence will be instrumental, as well as attention to detail.
- Collaborating with programmers, engineers, and organizational leaders to identify opportunities for process improvements, recommended system modifications and development policies for data governance.
- Creating appropriate documentation and leading training that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process and duplicate or replicate the analysis if necessary.
Expected Experience & Required Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, Strategy/Consulting, or a related field.

- Background
- 3+ years proven experience in Data Science, Analytics, Strategy, or a related field. Note: Consumer packaged goods experience is a plus.
- Leadership skills to see project from beginning to end without the need for oversight.
- Ability to think strategically about the information that will help stakeholders make data-driven business decisions and to communicate the value of this information effectively.
- Preparing recommendations for decision-makers that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and other insights.
- Strong communication, project management, and collaboration skills.
- Comfort with unstructured data.
Work Environment & Schedule
This position is considered a Normal office environment with limited travel or visits to external locations; offices are open workspaces Additionally, this role requires work a salaried, exempt schedule to best execute against customer and internal expectations.

Employee's Home - NationalBase Salary Range: $85,400.00 - $106,800.00Target Total Cash Range: $106,750.00 - $133,500.00Target total cash represents this role's annualized cash earning potential at target (base salary + target bonus). Target total cash is contingent on targeted company performance achievement and individual attainment of performance goals.
