What will you do?
A day in the life of a Specialist, Vendor Compliance at VF looks a little like this.
As part of the VF Customer Service team, the Vendor Compliance Specialist is responsible for managing and researching compliance related chargebacks that are deducted by our wholesale customers. The Specialist will identify consistent chargeback themes and partner with the Analysts to prevent further chargebacks. The Specialist will effectively dispute charges to ensure VF will be more likely to recover funds.
*Though this position is fully remote, it requires living in the state of Wisconsin.
Let’s break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.
Review customer deductions and thoroughly research and analyze why the deductions occurred within service level agreement (SLA).
Responsible for disputing invalid chargebacks with customers within SLA by compiling documentation and explaining why the charge is not valid.
Accountable for providing chargeback root cause analysis and trends to Compliance Analyst and Leadership
Responsible for issuing credit memos for valid chargebacks within SLA.
Partner with multi-functional teams such as, Distribution Centers, Customer Services, Compliance Analyst and Managers as needed to correct ongoing issues and implement best practices.
Review requirements & verify needed exemptions on existing accounts and ensure that needed processes are in place.
Create and maintain relationships with priority customers through remote and on- site engagement.
