DIRECTV is seeking a Specialist, HR Operations to join our dynamic Human Resources team. This role is ideal for an HR professional with 1-3 years of experience who is developing their knowledge in HR Operations Support. The Specialist, HR Operations will play a crucial role in supporting various HR initiatives, programs, and day-to-day operations.
Here's what you’ll do:
- Assist in implementing HR programs and initiatives under the guidance of senior team members.
- Address employee inquiries and issues related to HR policies, procedures, and programs.
- Provide project support for various HR Operations initiatives.
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of HR systems and databases.
- Assist in preparing HR reports and analytics as needed.
- Support the development and delivery of HR communications.
- Collaborate with other HR team members to ensure smooth operations across all HR functions.
- Participate in HR process improvement efforts.
- Assist in coordinating HR events and activities.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in HR Operations or a related HR role.
- Developing knowledge of HR best practices, policies, and procedures.
- Familiarity with HR information systems and databases.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently on projects with guidance from senior team members.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Customer service-oriented approach with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and grow within the HR field.
- May require a background check due to job duties requiring routine access to DIRECTV and DIRECTV customer’s proprietary data. Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction will be considered for employment in accordance with local ordinances and state law.
