We aim to grow this division to over $6 million in revenue within the next year, and we are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead this endeavor.


Job Description: 


We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to spearhead the launch and growth of our new Commercial Equipment Division. This role is pivotal in building the foundation of the division and driving it towards achieving substantial revenue goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project management, specifically in the commercial equipment installation sector.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all aspects of the new division, from inception to full operation.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve over $6 million in revenue within the first year.
  • Lead and coordinate the installation of commercial-grade equipment, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team to support the division's growth.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor project performance and implement continuous improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to track progress against revenue targets.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the commercial equipment installation industry.
  • Proven track record of managing projects with a significant revenue impact.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management), or Six Sigma are highly desirable.
  • Certification in commercial equipment installation or related fields is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary of $85,000 - $105,000, commensurate with experience.

Position Overview:


The Client Services Special Projects Manager at Force Building Services will play a pivotal role in developing a new division within the company. This position is responsible for acquiring new clients, building estimates, winning bids, and establishing strong relationships with clients. The Special Projects Manager will work closely with the Owners and perform all essential job functions equivalent to the Client Services Maintenance Project Manager.


Essential Job Functions:


  • Oversee and manage multiple construction, mechanical, and maintenance projects simultaneously.
  • Ensure that all projects are executed according to plan, meeting, or exceeding client expectations.
  • Develop project schedules, coordinate with project team members, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Track project costs and ensure accurate and timely invoicing.
  • Enforce safety regulations and conduct regular audits of equipment, work practices, and procedures.
  • Source materials, equipment, and vendors as needed, negotiating pricing and terms for the benefit of the company and its clients.
  • Be readily available for on-site visits and take phone calls from Clients on evenings and weekends. 
  • Lead and guide maintenance technicians, Client Services Project Coordinators, and other subordinates.
  • Ensure the team is well-informed about project requirements and client expectations.
  • Collaborate with HR and the training team to ensure team members have the necessary certifications and training.
  • Maintain a high standard of professionalism, appearance, and work ethics among the team.
  • Identify and generate new business opportunities with existing and potential clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in client organizations.
  • Conduct regular sales calls, meetings, and presentations with clients to understand their needs and offer solutions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create proposals and negotiate contracts with clients.
  • Continuously monitor client satisfaction and identify opportunities for up-selling or cross-selling.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and project team members through various platforms (email, phone, chat, etc.), always maintaining professional communication.
  • Understand and communicate project requirements and expectations to project team members, ensuring all work is executed to client standards.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and progress reports.

  •     Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
  •     Proficient computer skills (Google, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
  •     Ability to adapt to process and platform updates/changes.
  •     Experience in handling multiple, high-priority tasks simultaneously.
  •     Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  •     Advanced customer service experience and willingness to represent the company to customers on-site.
  •     Enthusiastic about furthering their skills through education and training.
  •     Must always conduct themselves with the utmost integrity.
  •     Maintain high follow-through standards while working autonomously.
  •     Able to pass a background screening and have a clean driving record.
  •     Must be approved to work legally in the United States.


Physical Requirements:


  •     Ability to work in various commercial settings and be on-call when needed.
  •     Ability to sit for long periods of time.


Work Environment:


  •     This role requires travel up to 25% of the time, traveling between cities occasionally by plane or car.
  •     Must have the ability to safely operate an automobile and have a valid driver’s license.
  •     Work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
  •     Will be required to work on-call and outside of regular business hours.
  •     this role requires in person meetings when needed and on-site visits with our clients.
