Spanish Assistant

Salary/Position Classification

• $12.00 Hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 2 hours per week
• 100% Remote Work Availability: No
• Hybrid Work Availability: No

Purpose of Position

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with grading, materials preparation, and other teaching-related duties
• Tutor students on an as-needed basis
• Assist with basic research tasks within the field of linguistics

Minimum Requirements

• Experience with prior teaching or research assistantships preferred
• Must have native or near-native command of Spanish
• FERPA training will be required upon hiring
• Must have accepted a Federal Work Study award from the Office of Student Finance
• Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credits for the employed academic semester
