Sourcing Manager - Menlo Park, CA | Remote, US
- Build plan review and coordination with key suppliers and partners.
- Develop and communicate forecast to suppliers.
- Ensure alignment between capacity plan priorities and supplier commitments.
- Quote compilation and accuracy.
- Identify new suppliers in collaboration with other departments, such as engineering and quality assurance.
- Monitor supplier performance to pricing and business splits as defined by commodity team.
- Oversee SLA performance: measure, manage and improve supplier actual performance against negotiated service level agreements (SLA).
- Oversee Ongoing Cost Productivity: measure, report and action cost improvement as compared to market pricing models.
- Responsible for Scorecard Management: lead measuring supplier performance, root cause issues and driving improved performance, and rollup of team performance metrics.
- Define performance metrics for measurement, comparison and evaluation of supply chain factors, such as product cost or quality.
- Analyze information about supplier performance and procurement program success.
- Develop and implement procedures or systems to evaluate or select suppliers.
- Own all aspects of supplier performance.
- Telecommute from anywhere in the US permitted.
- Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Engineering Management, or related field and two years of work experience in job offered or in a supply chain-related occupation.
Requires two years of experience in the following: - 1. Demand and Supply Modeling
- 2. Supplier Performance Scorecard Formation and enable Supplier Business Reviews
- 3. Commodity forecast communication and tracking
- 4. Cross functional collaboration with finance, accounting, and engineering to formulate metrics and seek business approvals
- 5. Formulate and enable processes and frameworks to track commodity off cycle approvals and purchases
- 6. Tracking Purchase Orders and Contracts
- 7. Spend Analysis.
Individual pay is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
