Solution Engineer II โ€“ Job Description

The Solution Engineer II will be a primary technical and functional expert on our Dynamics CRM and other system platforms. The Solution Engineer II will focus on both strategy and tactical design and delivery of enhancements and fixes to our systems. They will build strong relationships with Product Owners and delivery teams within IT to build and maintain high-quality and high-performing systems.

Responsibilities

ยท Configures and maintains solutions for business partners

ยท Works with delivery teams within the technical and product organization to design, develop and deliver system enhancements and fixes for the business

ยท Work with product managers to identify requirements and testing approaches for work items

ยท Ensures work items are delivered on time

ยท Has a proactive awareness of systems or platform issues and changes; actively seeks out anticipated changes to the systems with a proactive effort in managing their impact on our systems

ยท Participates in the deployment of system updates

ยท Supports the dev-ops processes and solution delivery process within Tech; proactive participant in continuous improvement to our delivery process

ยท Subject matter expert in our platform and systems through continuous research, prototyping, and proactive understanding of the platform lifecycle

ยท Documents key processes for development and delivery of system updates

ยท Works in conjunction with developers on integrated solutions for the business

ยท Performs break-fix activities for systems

ยท Follows incident management process to ensure timely resolution of support tickets

ยท Follows change management process to make changes to the production environment in a safe and controlled manner

ยท Partners with product owners to understand business processes and how IT enables them

ยท Primary point of contact with our system vendors, when appropriate

ยท Manages tickets with vendors and ensures timely resolution of issues

ยท Performs ongoing administration and maintenance of systems to keep them high performing and up to date

ยท Maintains multiple environments and/or versions of our systems

Qualifications

ยท Bachelor's degree in: IT, Business Administration, Mathematics, or related field

ยท 2+ years' experience supporting enterprise systems

ยท Extensive experience enhancing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics CRM

ยท Experience working with sales and marketing teams and supporting processes
