What You’ll Be Contributing:

  • Work closely with the customer to design, implement and support complex technical solutions
  • Define vision, strategy and principles for the Hypertec portfolio in addressing the Digital Business Transformations;
  • Provide technical expertise, guidance, and support to ensure proposed solutions are implemented and feasible at multiple locations.
  • Create or modify IT Solution Architectures to solve complex problems; taking technology, people, process, culture and desired results into account;
  • Drive creative and innovative technology infrastructure design that drives customer benefits;
  • Provide guidance on IT Infrastructure Road Map;
  • Work with Hypertec’s different business units and departments to assess strategic market directions and specific customer requirements;
  • Work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements and come up with customized solutions to meet those needs.
  • Practice ‘systems of Integration’ and platform enablement of ecosystem and integration between the platforms;
  • Sponsor, lead and participate in Enterprise Architecture forums and conferences;
  • Participate in early product demonstrations to customers;
  • Interact effectively with customers, vendors, and internal cross-functional teams and work across geographies and time zones.
  • Translate highly technical concepts into actionable plans. 
  • Develop and review, Design and RFP documents and processes;
  • Conduct engineering analysis and research designs and methods of implementing data center infrastructure equipment and collaborating with Facilities (MEP)
  • Customer and partner project/program leadership experience; must have ability to understand and assess customer requirements, develop technical solutions based on customers geographical area, negotiate conflicting interests and prioritize deliverables to achieve the best possible outcome for all stakeholders;

 

What Sets You Apart: 

  • Technical experience in IT infrastructure, with increased knowledge of server architecture - a must have.
  • Working knowledge of networking/server/storage architecture and hardware, cable connections and types- a must have.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology related field;
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a directly related area, during which both professional and management capabilities have been clearly demonstrated.
  • Proven success in communicating and influencing customers and stakeholders;
  • Availability to travel 25% to 30% for the role.
  • Experience with data center network design and optical distribution
  • Expert understanding of key networking technologies to include switches, network-interface cards (NIC), Data Processing Units (DPU) and AI Fabrics
  • Proven success in being able to move from strategy to execution (hands on experience);
  • Proven success in delivering value using Enterprise Architecture methodologies;
  • Proven success in understanding company’s business strategy and being able to tie back IT services to business needs;
  • Leadership skills to independently take initiative and to innovate as part of a team;
  • Agility in reaching milestones and goals including knowledge of and practices in agile methods of delivery;
  • Knowledge of networking protocol industry standards
  • Knowledge of computer manufacturing supply chain and sales cycle in the IT Industry is an asset;
  • Possess relationships with key suppliers of networking products
  • Additional Experience in the following Vertical Market is an asset:
    • Media & Entertainment; 
    • Digital Manufacturing;
    • Financial sector.
