Get to Know the Opportunity: The Solution Consultant is responsible for translating our client’s business requirements into specific systems, applications or process designs for very large complex technology solutions and integrating architecture. Acts as an advocate for the client as the ultimate authority on the architecture designed to address the client’s business problems. Provides direction for design activities. Often project-based, sometimes working at customer sites, although not often. This is a 100% remote position with ability to travel 5% - 10% of the time. The selected candidate must reside in the United States.

 Contributions You Will Make: 

  • Viewed as leader on the team and subject matter expert for team members to reach out to. 
  • Supporting team and department initiative work, process improvement and documentation overhauls. 
  • Conduct and document meetings independently. 
  • Ability to validate and analyze complex data. 
  • Conduct complex analysis and troubleshooting tasks. Consult and lead medium to complex projects. 
  • Strong understanding of platform configurations. 
  • Operates effectively within the project timelines/SLAs in order to meet and / or exceed expectations and business drivers. 
  • Define quality measures and resolution plans. Document business requirements with sufficient detail to supporting the construction phase of the project. 
  • Configuration of the system to satisfy the business requirements. 
  • Support other consultants where needed. 
  • Additional responsibilities, as required.  

Required Knowledge and Experience: 

  • 5-7 years of medical benefits knowledge and standards. 5-7 years of data exchange experience. Experience with benefits administration systems and/or knowledge of benefit structures. 
  • Experience with systems integration and field-level interface design. 
  • Customer relationship management/consulting experience. 
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills. 
  • Tech Skills: MS Office Suite experience (Advanced Excel), Power BI, Jira, Salesforce
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple shifting priorities. 

 Minimum Knowledge and Experience: 

  • BA/BS degree preferred.  Work experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • Payroll/HR and EDI knowledge preferred 
  • Project Management experience highly preferred

Compensation Pay Disclosure:

Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya may offer incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.

$67,700 - $84,630 USD
