The Solution Architecture Manager provides strategic leadership to guide technology decisions at Key across technology and business domains. The individual will lead a team of architects in day-to-day operations and will work with both technology and business teams to help define technology strategy and assuring cross-portfolio alignment.  They will assist in the review and approval of the solution architecture for the delivery of projects. They will help develop and communicate the Bank's technology architecture plan and the infrastructure components required to support it.The Business Architecture Manager provides strategic leadership to guide technology decisions at Key across business architecture areas. The individual will lead a team of business architects in day-to-day operations and will work with both technology and business teams to help define business-technology strategy and assuring cross-portfolio alignment.  They will assist in the review and approval of the solution architecture for the delivery projects.

  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure that solutions are integrated and aligned with overall enterprise architecture.

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of team initiatives that align the business solution architecture team to Key strategic efforts and goals
  • Change agent with business stake holders
  • Evaluate short-term business needs required to support key business goals and establish priorities. Consult with business, information and technical subject matter experts to identify how a given business architecture can support these goals.
  • Create future state enterprise business architecture models (business capability models and value chain models)
  • Maintain and continually evaluate current state business capability models
  • Assist in developing technology roadmaps and overall technology strategy with business capability pain point discovery and analysis Identify process improvements, opportunities and trends and introduce them into the strategic planning cycle
  • Understanding of bank, LOB, and I.T. Economics; financial analysis
  • Understand technology trends and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operating models

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
  • Master's Degree in Technology or Business desirable
  • 7+ years of experience in solution architecture
  • At least 3 years in a leadership role desirable
  • Experience in architecting enterprise applications across the application, data, and infrastructure domains
  • Experience in managing and driving enterprise architecture capabilities within a large corporation
  • Experience in the Financial Services industry is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and practices.
  • Must be a Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus. Must be highly reliable, trustworthy, honest, and commitment oriented
  • Experience in performing industry analysis and identifying technology trends specific to the portfolio
  • Experience in acting as liaison conveying information between the business unit and their counterparts within Information Technology.
  • Must be a Team player able to work effectively at all levels of an organization with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus. Must be highly reliable, trustworthy, honest, and commitment oriented
  • The ability to manage and mentor a team of architects ensuring the development and growth of the tea
  • Strong situational analysis and decision-making abilities m

A broad, enterprise-wide view of the business and varying degrees of appreciation for strategy, processes and capabilities, enabling technologies, and governance

Experience in recognizing pain points within the organization, functional interdependencies and cross-silo redundancies.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $110,000 to $175,000 annually depending on job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
