SolidWorks Draftsperson (Not a designer) - Work From Home - Dayshift

• They're a family-owned business from regional Victoria, Australia, specializing in liquid storage solutions and serving customers nationwide.
• Must have at least 3 years of experience in SolidWorks and/or more years as a drafter with other CAD software. 
• Must possess access to Solidworks. 
• The company does not offer any training in Solidworks. 
• Engineers with deep drafting experience/love can apply. 
• PHP 30, 000 to 45,000 per month.

Work Conditions

• Your workstation should be set up in a safe and secure location at home with stable and reliable internet not less than 25 Mbps.
• Must work with your own equipment.

Shift Time

About the Role

As a SolidWorks Draftsperson, you'll play a pivotal role in a diverse array of projects spanning various sectors such as agriculture, chemicals, materials handling, water treatment, petroleum, and more. Your contributions will directly impact the manufacturing and assembly processes.
We are seeking a draftsperson with a strong passion for the craft, as well as individuals who have long aspired to pursue a career in drafting. Please note that at present, this position does not entail designer responsibilities and that the company aims to hire a senior drafter, as Solidworks training will not be provided.


Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with project managers and internal teams to create and revise drawings, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Generate drafting work across multiple industries, encompassing petroleum, water treatment, chemicals, agriculture, materials handling, and beyond.
• Curate and manage the product library, encompassing project-specific assets, standard products, small components, and weldments.
• Develop detailed models of new products and component items for seamless integration into the product library.
• Produce high-quality renders to enhance product visibility in catalogs and marketing materials.

Position Prerequisites

• Proficiency in 3D and 2D drafting, with a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in SolidWorks, with a track record of at least two years working extensively with the software.
• Familiarity with SolidWorks Product Data Management (PDM) and proficiency in creating renders using KeyShot for SolidWorks are advantageous.
• Possess three to five years of industry experience, preferably within manufacturing.

Skills

• Exceptional proficiency in verbal and written communication in English.
• Proficient in SolidWorks, with a comprehensive understanding of its functionalities.
• Proven experience as a draftsperson, showcasing strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to interpret hand-marked drawings and translate them effectively into software-based designs.
