The Role:

As a Software Test Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and guiding a talented team of Software Test Engineers, ensuring the seamless delivery of world-class software. You'll collaborate closely with Development, Technical Program Management, and Customer Service teams, driving the testing of new developments and swiftly addressing production issues. What you'll do:

  • Lead end-to-end systems testing across multiple device hardware, software, mobile applications, and cloud-based products.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure the highest product quality while ensuring on-time delivery.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Development, Technical Project Management, to identify project scope & product requirements, define test requirements, environments, & deliverables, and review test plans & strategies.
  • Oversee creation, maintenance, and execution of test automation frameworks and scripts.
  • Identify, report, & track defects, and work closely with development teams for quick resolution
  • Communicate test progress, results, and risks to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
  • Continuously improve test processes to enhance test efficiency and effectiveness
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of quality professionals
  • Introduce performance testing guidelines
  • Establish key quality metrics and continuously monitor performance to drive improvement
  • Lead root cause analysis for quality issues and ensure effective corrective actions are implemented
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in QA and testing, and apply this knowledge to continuously improve software quality

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Software Test Manager or similar role, with expertise in Microsoft Azure DevOps.
  • Strong understanding of software testing lifecycle (STLC), QA methodologies, and best practices.
  • Experience managing both manual and automated testing initiatives.
  • Proficiency in setting up and managing test plans, test suites, and test cases in ADO 
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and integrating automated tests into the pipeline
  • Hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, or others) is a plus
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience managing testing within these frameworks

Compensation:

The estimated base annual salary range for this position is $114,600.03 to $155,047.10, though a candidate's base annual salary shall be determined on a range of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications and experience. This position may additionally be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
