System Automation (SA) is a software vendor based in Columbia, Maryland, with a focus on providing systems that support government regulatory management operations. 

Founded in the District of Columbia in 1968 and originally contracted to develop and support the US Army recruiting system (contract held for 42 years), SA has since become an industry leader in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive information management applications for government regulatory agencies across the country. About the Role:

Under limited supervision, supports quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, guidelines, and procedures for an enterprise system. Develops and executes software test cases in order to identify software problems and their causes. We are seeking an eager candidate that is hoping to grow their QA skills and combine their analysis skills with broader business alignment to bring new and established QA techniques to achieve our platform quality goals. 

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Development teams to understand product requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test cases 
• Execute manual, functional, and automated tests to verify the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of functionality 
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the automated regression scripts built using Katalon 
• Analyze requirements and determine technical feasibility for Automation 
• Integrate automated tests into CI to identify issues during the development cycle 
• Contribute to PR reviews, submit PRs, and contribute to the goal of 100% regression automation readiness
