SOFTWARE INVESTING ANALYST INTERNSHIP Remote, DE

ABOUT US

ASG is an unconventional software business that invests in uniquely positioned vertical SaaS companies and builds them into industry leading software platforms. We believe that combining deep expertise and shared resources can drive exponential growth, and that the heart of a thriving business is the people - the founders whose legacy we honor, the employees with unlimited potential, and the leaders who drive our businesses forward. ASG is backed by Alpine Investors and has acquired 45+ businesses across 8 verticals since inception. We believe our companies, and our people, are better together.

Alpine Investors is a US based private equity firm that is completely reimagining the private equity space in the US and internationally. With over $17 billion in assets under management across 9 funds, Alpine's PeopleFirst philosophy continues to demonstrate that pursuing and investing in passionate individuals is the key driver in building enduring companies and delivering market-leading returns.

We believe the formula for building a world class business and making an impact on the world is the same: unleash incredible people to be their best selves. Our job is to empower young people and create a supportive environment where they can thrive, learn, and grow. And by fostering incredible talent, we can be a Force for Good in the world.

THE ROLE

The primary focus of our Summer Software Investing Analyst program is to gain experience sourcing and assessing potential investment opportunities for Alpine’s international software strategy. This entails proactively identifying companies and sectors for Alpine to invest; outreaching to and communicating with founders and management teams; identifying key trends and risks of a company and sector; and highlighting attractive areas for investment. As the deal processes “go live,” the Software Investing Summer Analysts will play a critical role on the deal team in assisting with various components of the deal process, including building and analyzing financial models, participating in on-site company visits, and conducting diligence meetings with business executives.

We strongly believe in giving interns ownership and responsibility early on so that they can maximize their learning and be ready to meaningfully contribute to the team. This is a temporary, fixed contract internship with a duration of approximately 3 months.
