• Apply relevant AI and machine learning techniques to build intelligent systems that improve Meta products and experiences.
• Develop novel, accurate AI algorithms and advanced systems for large scale applications.
• Define use cases and develop methodology and benchmarks to evaluate different approaches.
• Telecommute from anywhere in the U.S.

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field and three years of work experience in job offered or in a computer related occupation. Experience must include three years of experience in the following:
• 1. One or more of the following areas: NLP, ASR, TTS, Conversational AI, Dialogue, Machine Learning or artificial intelligence
• 2. Developing machine learning algorithms or machine learning infrastructure in C/C++ or Python
• 3. Developing paralinguistic engines including speaker identification, whisper detection, stutter detection
• 4. Developing streaming audio processing pipelines, as well as designing thread model inside such pipelines
• 5. On device development and debugging
• 6. Developing and optimizing speech AI models, having experience on common modeling optimizations including quantization, gradient checkpointing
• 7. Developing end-to-end streaming speech APIs and services, and the ability to maintain scalability and availability of such services.
