At Andesite, we are building a product suite to supercharge cyber security analysts. As a Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying systems that are secure by design and meet the strictest standards of both government and private-sector compliance frameworks. This product suite will be deployed at multiple government classification levels and within highly regulated customer environments; as such, you should be familiar with FedRAMP, NIST SP 800-53, SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and other compliance standards and frameworks. You will also work on improving our infrastructure, automation, and engineering efficiency.Â
Position: Software Engineer â Platform EngineerÂ
Location: Greater Washington D.C. Area or RemoteÂ
About the Role:Â
- Design, develop, and maintain platform services, components, and tools that support our cybersecurity applications and workflowsÂ
- Ensure compliance with government and private sector standards and best practices for security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacyÂ
- Deploy and operate platform systems in high side environments, following strict access and data protection policiesÂ
- Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand and deliver on customer needs and expectationsÂ
- Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, monitoring tools, and other engineering efficiency solutionsÂ
What You Have:Â
- A deep passion for infrastructure, scaling, and devopsÂ
- Bachelorâs degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experienceÂ
- 3+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or similar rolesÂ
