TCGplayer connects hobbyists and hobby businesses to communities. We relentlessly improve the exchange of things and thoughts that fuel passions, providing the most compelling destination and tools for collectible card game enthusiasts and professional sellers! TCGplayer, now a part of eBay, promotes and drives growth of our products and services by connecting a global community of millions of buyers with tens of thousands of retailers in a $25B global collectible hobby market.
The Cloud Platform Engineering (CPE) team is responsible for the stability, reliability, release and deployment of TCGplayer.com technology. The team’s primary function is to increase the efficiency of the organization through well-designed automation and infrastructure.

We are in search of a seasoned Developer Experience OR Platform Engineering Manager with 5+ years experience in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Kubernetes to lead our efforts providing a seamless and productive development environment for our engineering teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing the developer workflow, tooling, and automation to enhance productivity and enable our developers to deliver high-quality software efficiently.
What you will accomplish:
Platform Development: Lead the development and execution of the DevEx roadmap, working closely with software developers, quality engineers, security, and other stakeholders to deliver robust and scalable infrastructure solutions.
Ensure the DevEx team adheres to best practices, coding standards, quality standards, and architectural guidelines, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
