The annual base salary for this position ranges from $82,900.00 in our lowest geographic market to $185,700.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.Information about benefits can be found here.

The Data and AI organization is seeking a software engineer to join the Engineering Enablement team. This organization develops data centric software application and data pipelines that powers Nike business teams.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for software engineer that will bring their experience, and passion and help us deliver a variety of data centric applications that will power the Nike enterprise. This candidate will need to have experience building and supporting AWS applications using the latest frameworks and technologies. The candidate will have to demonstrate that they are a team player and the ability to continue to learn and grow.
The following qualifications and technical skills are essential for this role:
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related technical discipline
* 3-5 years of experience in software development building back-end components and services
* Strong understanding of the AWS ecosystem and container orchestration
* Project experience using Go, Python or similar language
* Experience with distributed systems at-scale and realtime data processing (Kubernetes, ECS, Kafka)
* Strong verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with technical and nontechnical teammates

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
With teammates in Portland, Boston, Europe, China, and India, you'll be joining a global organization working to solve engineering problems at scale. As a Software Engineer I on the Engineering Enablement team you will be focused on the technical implementation of tooling and services that ingest, process, transform and federate to support Nike's data ecosystem.
* Develop, test and implement software to enable ingestion of data and multiple integrations with services and platforms.
* Collaborate with teammates in the design and building of scalable software solutions.
* Work closely with Product partners and Engineering Leads to implement new features and enhancements.
* Ensure product and technical features are delivered based on requirements and in a specified timeline.
* Participate and engage in agile ceremonies with the engineering team and product owner.
