Built is looking for a Software Engineer II to join our Commercial Real Estate team. In this role, you will be focused on unlocking Built's largest revenue opportunities by working alongside other talented engineers to deliver features in a sustainable, scalable way. You will create new or extend existing React micro frontends, Node.js product APIs, and services backed by MySQL or DynamoDB as we shift towards an event-driven architecture. Outside of standard sprint cadence meetings (10% of your time), the large majority of your days will be spent in the code and collaborating with your team. You should feel comfortable taking ownership of your code, running and monitoring releases, reviewing pull requests, writing and reviewing technical specs, and holding others to your high standards.
Responsibilities:- Works on engineering initiatives that drive a larger feature set, while being careful to not create technical debt in the process.
- Preemptively scans issue backlogs. Actions include but are not limited to: familiarizing themselves with pain points in the system, applying relevant labels and triaging, closing them via pull request or other means.
- Is considerate of others on the team and tries to support other people in their work.
