Your Role
Weâre looking for a Software Engineer II to join our Fan team, which is focused on bringing teams and athletes closer to their fans through our new fan experience. Everything amateur sports fans need is in one place, like livestream game broadcasts, highlight reels, tickets, rosters, scores and more.Â
In this role, you will:Â
- Collaborate. By working closely with a cross-functional team across Engineering, Quality, Product, Design, and Scrum, youâll help improve our video livestreaming infrastructure on our web, mobile, and TV apps.
- Deliver full-stack web and mobile features. We iterate rapidly and deploy changes to the product hundreds of times a day across our engineering team.
- Propose new solutions. Youâll have the opportunity to solve technical challenges and provide guidance to less experienced engineers.
For this role, we're currently considering candidates who live within a commuting distance of our offices in Lexington, KY. We expect candidates to work from our office at least four days weekly.
Must-Haves
- Exposure to mature, full-stack web application code. You have 2+ years of experience building across many levels of a web application, from client-side code down to the database.Â
- A collaborative, team-first mindset. You know building excellent software is a team effort and youâre willing to collaborate with others to get to the best outcomeâwhether that means providing input in technical âŚ
