• Design core, backend software components, and code.
• Interface with other teams to incorporate their innovations and vice versa.
• Conduct design and code reviews, and analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources.
• Build large-scale server applications.
• Develop and debug code.
• Background working with software operating system internals, file systems, programming language design, and compilers to complete software engineering for assigned projects.
• Telecommute from anywhere in the US permitted.

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Software, Computer Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Experience must include 24 months of experience in the following:
• 1. C, C++, C#, or Java
• 2. Python, PHP, or Haskell
• 3. Software development tools: Code editors (VIM or Emacs), and revision control systems (Subversion, GIT, or Perforce)
• 4. Linux, UNIX, or other *nix-like OS as evidenced by file manipulation, advanced commands, and shell scripting
• 5. Core web technologies: HTML, CSS, or JavaScript
• 6. Data processing, programming languages, databases, networking, operating systems, computer graphics, or human-computer interaction
• 7. Applying algorithms and core computer science concepts to real world systems as evidenced by recognizing and matching patterns from different areas of computer science in production systems and
• 8. Distributed systems.

$169,442/year to $200,200/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
