We are looking for a Software Developer to contribute to our Veeam Kasten data management platform, purpose-built for Kubernetes, ensuring top-tier security and excellence.
Your tasks will include:
- Owning (designing, developing, and testing) significant features in the Veeam Kasten product related to backup and recovery of Kubernetes applications, databases, and storage systems
- Expanding our internal tools from easing developer experience to efficiently releasing Veeam Kasten every sprint
- Collaborating with distributed teams across different time zones and regions
- Preparing technical documentation and specifications
- Mentoring other engineers and continuously supporting projects across the product
- Sharing responsibilities on maintaining the CI/CD pipelines
- Resolving customer issues in a timely manner
Technologies we work with:
Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, Golang, Bash, Git, Terraform, OpenShift, Rancher, Google GKE, AWS EKS, Azure AKS, VMware TKG(s), etc.
What we expect from you:
- 5+ years of experience developing enterprise solutions in a high-level programming language such as Go, C++, or Java
- Experience with distributed systems concepts and client-server architectures
- Expertise in developing, testing, and debugging production-quality, scalable, multi-threaded, and concurrent systems
- Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, and concurrency)
- BS, MS or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent industry experience
Will be an advantage:
- Experience developing in Go
- Experience developing for and on containers, container scheduler, and orchestration platforms
- Experience with databases and/or storage systems - especially in the public cloud
- Experience developing for multiple architectures such as amd64, arm64, ppc64le, etc

The salary range posted is On Target Earnings (OTE), which is inclusive of base and variable pay. When making an offer of employment, Veeam will take into consideration the candidate’s expectations, experience, education, scope of responsibility for the role, and the current market demands.
