As a Senior Development Engineer at CSG, you will create sophisticated designs, perform analysis, development, modifications, and debug software for applications and tools in the Oracle EBS ecosystem. You will conduct advanced release testing and interface with end-users to define requirements and complete technical documentation.

We are looking for a Senior Software Dev Engineer who will:

• Performs complex product design, system analysis, and programming activities for application solutions to meet specifications which may require extensive research.
• Performs complex code reviews, bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products. Researches, evaluates problems, and performs root cause analysis for issues discovered by QA or service requests and develops solutions to the problems. 
• Guides team members throughout the support process to identify, research, and diagnose logic errors that are complex in nature and provide necessary solutions. Possess the ability to diagnose and implement solutions that exist between multiple application subsystems.
• Mentors, trains and provide guidance to other employees. Researches new technology or development tools to remain informed of current technology.
• Able to read, write, and update very complex Linux shell, PowerShell scripts, or SQL queries.
• High business acumen to identify overall business impact of issues

Is this opportunity right for you? We are looking for candidates who:

• 6+ years of experience with systems/application development
• Expert level Oracle PL/SQL with extensive experience querying and creating Oracle database objects
• Expert level experience with shell scripting and major operating systems (Unix, Linux, Windows)
• Expert understanding of required development tools (Oracle Developer Suite, SQL Developer, JDeveloper, Oracle Workflow, Oracle APEX, etc.)
• Excellent IT knowledge in software development methodologies/processes, design, implementation and documentation
• Knowledge of Oracle EBS Financials, Projects Accounting, Core HR, Oracle Time and Labor, Order Management, Inventory, Advanced Pricing
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively and contribute positively to our inclusive work environment
