The Role

The Honest Company has kicked off a search for a Social Moderator to aid development, day-to-day operations and community management of our Honest and Honest Beauty social media channels. In this position, you will oversee our social community by monitoring channels and engaging with our audience to foster a positive brand presence.You will play a key role in translating Honest’s brand story into engaging and compelling content for our growing community. You will help with creation and development of Honest social media campaigns, collaborating on content creator initiatives, and overseeing content. If you’re knowledgeable and passionate about the social media industry and developing innovative and effective strategies, this role is for you.

What you'll do:

  • Manage our social community by monitoring channels daily, responding to comments, and addressing customer questions to foster a positive brand presence and engage our audience.
  • Work cross-functionally to marry all aspects of Honest’s organic social media with the storytelling on our platforms. Your goals will center around growing our community, increasing community engagement, building brand loyalty and awareness, and delivering a best-in-class social content experience for our consumers.
  • Help develop unique and engaging social media campaigns, themes and posts that support building community and engagement across all brand social channels, respond to viral trends and amplify key brand moments.
  • Support creator campaign strategies, outreach, gifting and follow up.
  • Oversee the content library, content aggregating and organization.
  • Help with management and execution of Honest’s social media calendar.
  • Identify and document best performing / effective social content and use data to pivot social on an ongoing basis.
  • Ongoing social listening for sentiment feedback to share back to brand marketing, product marketing and development.
  • Utilize channel insights, Dash Hudson, and other third party tools to understand performance.

What you'll need:

  • 1-2 years of results-driven social media experience with a clear history of content creation and amplification as well as experience with in-depth reporting and meaningful measurement.
  • Thorough understanding of social media and communication tactics.
  • Proficiency in all social media networks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with focus on creatively working within the restrictions of social media platforms.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, collaborate and work well with others.
  • Graphic design, editing and photography skills are a plus!
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize, thriving in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility for brief weekend check-ins to support social moderation as needed.

Compensation

The pay range for this role is $20.00/hr to $22.60/hr. Actual compensation is based on many factors including but not limited to depth of experience, skill level, ability, knowledge, education, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. 

The total rewards package for this position may also include base, annual incentive plan, benefits, retirement plan, equity, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
