Social Media Manager - Leavenworth, KS

As the Social Media Manager, you will maintain, monitor, evaluate and update the Combined Arms Center’s (CAC) social media sites, including, but not limited to YouTube, Facebook, CAC website, CORE (Army’s Content Management System), Army.mil, Flickr, X, and Instagram. You will provide recommendations for improved communication through social media; and provide technical assistance to subordinate CAC organizations in establishing and maintaining social media sites in support of organizational goals. You will also research, design, and produce informational products that will showcase the activities and contributions of CAC. Please provide links to portfolio examples in your resume.

This position is on site at Fort Leavenworth, KS

Pay: $125,000-$135,000

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, public relations, or related field (will consider relevant experience in lieu of degree)
• 5+ years’ experience in social media management and content creation
• Experience in managing YouTube, Facebook, Flickr, X, and Instagram accounts 
• Ability to multitask, effectively manage time, and prioritize responsibilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills
• Must be punctual, meticulous and reliable
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience working in CAC website, CORE (Army’s Content Management System), and Army.mil accounts
• Experience with photoshoots and video production
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and in graphic design

Experience managing cross functional teams to deadline
