Position Summary: 


As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee commercial remodels and renovation projects (not ground-up construction). This role represents a natural progression from the Site Foreman position, shifting away from hands-on work to focus on leading teams, managing large-scale projects, and ensuring successful project execution.


The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing projects ranging from $50,000 to $150,000, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This position manages Site Foremen and crews, coordinates subcontractors, and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the Site Supervisor plays a key role in project planning, execution, and client communication, making them an essential leader within AlffCo’s construction operations.


 Key Responsibilities: 


  

Project Oversight & Leadership

  • Oversee multiple remodel and renovation projects, managing budgets, timelines, and scope (projects typically between $50,000 -      $150,000).
  • Serve as the on-site leader, ensuring all phases of the project are executed according to company and client expectations.
  • Manage Site Foremen and crews, ensuring effective delegation, accountability, and efficiency in work execution.
  • Provide direction to subcontractors, ensuring their work aligns with project plans and quality standards.
  • Act as the primary on-site decision-maker, resolving challenges and ensuring project continuity.

Construction & Project Management

  • Plan, schedule, and oversee commercial remodels, renovations, and facility improvement projects.
  • Ensure proper sequencing of work, coordinating trades and subcontractors to prevent delays.
  • Conduct site inspections and quality control checks, ensuring compliance with AlffCo standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Manage material procurement and inventory, ensuring supplies are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Identify and mitigate risks that could impact project completion, cost, or quality.

Crew & Subcontractor Management

  • Supervise and mentor Site Foremen, ensuring they effectively lead their crews and maintain high-performance standards.
  • Assign work to crews and subcontractors, ensuring productivity, efficiency, and adherence to project timelines.
  • Address performance issues and guide on improving work quality and efficiency.

Client & Stakeholder Communication

  • Serves as the primary point of contact between clients, project managers, and on-site teams.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, including progress reports, potential delays, and resolution strategies.
  • Address client concerns or modifications, adjusting project plans when necessary to align with expectations.
  • Communicate effectively with vendors, inspectors, and company leadership to ensure smooth project execution.

Safety & Compliance

  • Enforce OSHA safety regulations and company safety policies, ensuring all workers and subcontractors follow established procedures.
  • Conduct safety briefings and on-site inspections, identifying and correcting potential hazards.
  • Ensure all necessary permits and inspections are obtained and completed before project milestones.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain detailed project records, including labor hours, material usage, and job site documentation.
  • Use company software and mobile applications to submit daily progress reports and track job performance.
  • Ensure all change orders, budget updates, and compliance records are documented accurately.

Other Responsibilities 

· Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in commercial construction, facility maintenance, or renovation projects, with a primary focus on remodels and renovations (not ground-up construction).
  • Proven leadership experience, overseeing multiple crews, Site Foremen, and subcontractors on larger-scale projects ($50,000 - $150,000).
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and technical documents to ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Working knowledge of building codes, permitting processes, and regulatory compliance related to commercial remodels and facility maintenance.
  • Proficiency in construction materials, tools, and techniques,  with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges.
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and contractual obligations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills, capable of effectively managing crews, subcontractors, and client relationships.
  • Proficiency in work order management systems, mobile applications, and documentation software for tracking project progress and reporting.
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel to job sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in commercial remodeling or renovation project supervision.
  • Previous experience overseeing multiple large-scale projects and managing Site Foremen and subcontractors.
  • Familiarity with contract negotiation, material procurement, and vendor management.
  • Industry certifications such as:
    • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification (strongly preferred).
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction  Manager (CCM) (preferred).
    • First Aid/CPR Certification (preferred).
  • Experience with budget forecasting, cost tracking, and financial reporting related to project expenses.

Computer Skills

  • Quick learning ability for new database programs, proficient navigation of communication such as basic knowledge of Salesforce and proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Teams, and SharePoint.
