JOB DESCRIPTION

Sign Language Instructors provide sign language instruction to children/students who are

either Deaf, Hard of Hearing or hearing but utilize sign language to communicate.  Instructors work with families or staff and peers in their homes or in school/childcare settings.  Sign language instruction services are included in a child’s One Plan or 504/IEP.

EDUCATION

      High School Diploma or Equivalent

      ASL fluency

EXPERIENCE

Experience teaching sign language

Experience working with children, families and teachers
