Under the Service Management, Integration, and Transport (SMIT) portion of NGEN, the Leidos team will deliver the core backbone of the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet, including cybersecurity services, network operations, service desk, and data transport. Job Summary:

The SMIT program at Leidos is seeking a Microsoft SharePoint Administrator to support SharePoint maintenance, development and end user support. This candidate will be responsible for updates, monitoring, and customizing SharePoint Online which resides within the Customer network. The position will be a remote/telework role.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming requests and inquiries from end users through a shared mailbox and other communication forums.

  • Intake customer requests, translate into requirements, and develop solution.

  • Complete SharePoint assignments. Assess and translate requests to best optimize the user experience, troubleshoot reported issues, and maintain the Microsoft SharePoint configuration using best practices.

  • Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft SharePoint and Teams environments including any associated tools such as the Microsoft Power Platform suite of applications (Power BI, Apps, Forms, Portal, Automate, Dataverse).

  • Monitor customer IT communications for awareness and planning for any changes or maintenance impacting the enterprise SharePoint and Teams environments.

  • Facilitate meetings with all necessary parties: Leidos project personnel, subcontractor staff, customer stakeholders, content creators, customer IT support staff, etc.

  • Hold project contributors and content creators accountable for maintaining up to date data within SharePoint and Teams sites.

  • Complete and submit any customer required documentation or requests needed to fulfill delegated tasks.

  • Write, file and disseminate any documentation required for SharePoint site management and end user guidance.

Basic Qualifications

  • US Citizen

  • DoD Secret Clearance

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field. Relevant experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree in other disciplines.

  • 2-4 years of experience with designing and developing within the Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Apps, Portal, SharePoint, Automate, Dataverse), with an emphasis on SharePoint Online and Teams environments.

  • Understanding of SharePoint site collection architecture and usability impacts of an application requiring multi-factor authentication

  • Skilled in the design and maintenance of SharePoint/Teams applications, web pages and permission settings

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of Power BI dashboard development.

  • Requirements gathering, documentation and execution.

  • Resourceful, requiring minimal direction – adept at identifying and utilizing approved resources to aid job tasks

  • Proficient in intercommunications between various stakeholders and product owners

  • Experience with translating customer requests into viable solutions.


 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of website UX/UI best practices

  • Familiarity with common DON acronyms and terminology

  • SharePoint site collection administrator

  • Organized and detail-oriented

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Self-motivated/ self-directing

  • Strong collaboration, prioritization, and adaptability skills

  • Ability to manage and prioritize own work

  • Independent decision making

  • Analytical thinking; thinking out of the box

  • Ability to effectively communicate with all organizational levels (SME to Senior Management)

  • Ability to analyze problems at various levels (e.g. detail level, overall organizational impact, etc.)

Pay Range:

Pay Range $65,000.00 - $117,500.00
